transferring domain

  I purchased my domain from go daddy and paid for multiple years subscription and attached it to shopify . I would like to transfer to wordpress but need to know if it will still be mamarootsandherbs.com as I have items with that name on it or will it change to .wordpress.com as it is showing me. Is there a way to just keep my domain name as is? Or does it have to change?

  If you would want to transfer your domain to WordPress.com you would need to buy a paid plan.

  WordPress.com bills yearly. Payment is required at the start.

  A free plan with WordPress.com comes with a .wordpress.com subdomain. If you want to remove the .wordpress.com subdomain you would need one of the paid plans.
