  Domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or another transfer. This is a limit imposed on all domain registrars by ICANN, the organization which oversees all domain registrar policies.

  You can, however, map a domain to your existing WordPress.com site at any time: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
