Transferring Domain

  I have a domain registered elsewhere which has web-forwarding to my WordPress site and a catchall email forwarding function which sends any mail to @mydomian to my personal address. If I transfer the domain to WordPress, will I retain these capabilities? Thanks.

  We have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

  Can you let us know what your domain is, where your site is being hosted now, and whether or not you plan on hosting your site here at WordPress.com? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

  Note the hosting provider WordPress.com is not the same organization as the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org), so we can only help with and advise on sites hosted with us.

  I just went to’Add New Site’ on my WordPress blog and it asked me if I wanted to use a domain that I own. I own http://www.yamoosh.com but I want to make sure that, if I transfer it, email forwarding is included as part of the price.
