Transferring domain

  Hello,
  I wanted to know how I can go about transferring http://www.joseplacenciaphoto.com from wordpress to UENI.com

  I have created a new website via UENI.com and would like to connect the domain http://www.joseplacenciaphoto.com to my current website.

  Also, I would like to add that I have already removed http://www.joseplacenciaphoto.com from my wordpress account, thinking that would allow me to transfer the domain, and now I have no access to http://www.joseplacenciaphoto.com

  Hi there, canceled domains aren’t released immediately, and depending on the domain, it can take anywhere from a few days to more than a year before it will be available to buy again.

  In this specific case, we have a few options for you to regain control over the domain:

  Wait: You can wait for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you may be able to purchase it again with another provider. We have no control over how long this process can take.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days. This will require an extra $80 fee as the domain has entered the redemption period: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period and we have no control over this fee which is leveraged by our domain partner.
