Transferring Domain

  Hello,

  I want to move this site onto a WordPress.org platform. I’d like to purchase hosting with HostGator and I will need to repoint the DNS. How do I access the account where I purchased the domain as I registered it right through WordPress? The upgraded domain is mlbtherapypllc.com and I want to continue using this URL on my new site.

  Hey Chelsea!

  Here are instructions about how to remap your domain so it points to your Hostgator site:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You can access your Domain control panel here:
  https://mlbtherapy.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  Next to your custom domain name, click Edit Domain → Name Servers and add the name servers given to your by Hostgator.

  It can take up to 72-hours for all these changes to appear internet-wide, but should happen much sooner!
