Transferring domain

  Hello!

  I am trying to transfer a domain for a client from WordPress.com to DreamHost, where the new WordPress.org site is hosted. However, I have run into some trouble. I have the following message under “Transfer Domain”:

  “You must verify your email address before you can transfer this domain.”

  However, no e-mail is sent to the address that is connected with the domain. I have also tried changing DNS records, but that also requires e-mail verification, and again, no e-mail is being sent.

  It might be a good idea to temporarily change the contact e-mail to my own so that the process would be faster, but unfortunately that is also impossible.

  Could you please help me with either the e-mail verification, transferring the domain or changing the DNS records so that we can move on to the new site? What information would you need?

  This problem has been resolved with the help of WordPress.com support!
