  Will i still have to pay WordPress although im transferrin?

  To transfer or map a domain, you would require a upgraded WordPress plan starting from Personal to Premium and Business.

  Hi there,

  Transferring a domain to us costs money, yes, as the domain is renewed for another year once the transfer completes. It is also not possible to connect a domain to a WordPress.com site without a paid plan, regardless of whether you’re transferring or just mapping the domain.
