Transferring Domain

  Hello,
  I’m considering transferring my domain from Square Space over to WordPress but am nervous about doing so because I don’t want to lose any information that’s on my current site. I’m unsure how this process works so if you could please explain what I can expect after transfer is complete, that would be very helpful.

  Thanks for reaching out.
  We can provide some insight on how to transfer your website from Squarespace to WordPress.com

  To start with, you’ll need to export the content from your Squarespace website.
  -> Then import the content in your WordPress.com website.
  -> You should be able to see your website content now on WordPress.com
  -> Once you’re satisfied that all the content has successfully imported, you can begin with mapping / transferring your domain to WordPress.com.
