Transferring Domain

Hi WordPress Support.
I have my domain and hosting on dewaweb.com, which I just bought 1 month ago. I want to use WordPress as the CMS.
In the transferring process, I was informed that I could only transfer the domain in the next 32 days. When I tried to connect the domain, WordPress asked me to purchase a plan.
Question is: If I wait for the next 32 days, will I have to pay to transfer the domain and use the WordPress service with my domain?

To use your domain, you need a paid plan. The free plan doesn’t allow you to use a custom domain.
It doesn’t matter if you start using now or after 32 days. The only difference will be now you can only map your domain, but can’t transfer because when you register your domain, to transfer it, it should be at least 60 days old.

If I mapped my domain today to WordPress, would I be able to transfer later when it had become available to transfer? (In the next 32 days).

When you map your domain, you use the free domain credit of your paid plan, which means you have to pay extra for transferring it later. You can use that free credit only once.
It’s better to map and keep the domain registration intact, or you can wait for 32 days and then directly transfer it to WordPress.com.
