Transferring domain and email

Hi, I have an existing website with another HTML server platform. I would like to transfer just the domain and my email configuration @mycompany.com. The website itself I do not wish to transfer as I have re designed it on wordpress. Kindly assist if the free plan is able to do this.

To transfer a domain registration to WordPress.com requires one of our paid plans:

Once the domain is registered with us and you point the name servers to us, you can add any DNS records required for your email to still work, but we do not provide an email service ourself. So you’ll either need to keep your current email service, or open an account with another email provider.
If you don’t need a full inbox, but only the ability to receive emails at your business address, we do offer an email forwarding option.

Hi, thank you for the reply. Will personal plan be able to do the transfer domain? I have my own email service, just need the email forward only also. Will personal plan work for both the transfer of domain and email forwarding?
