Transferring domain from another host

  I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate but will be transferring my site to Word Press. I’ve already started the process but I am having trouble with the DNS settings, so that the posts and pages show up at Word Press. Has anyone ever left Wealthy Affiliate and moved their site here? If so how do you do it?

  I can see you have added domain mapping for healthyhearts-healthyminds.com. Is this what you are having trouble setting up? Or are you trying to transfer the domain itself from Enom, to WordPress.com?

  Yes that is the one. The issue is that when I hit posts, and pages, etc, none of my content comes up. It says my DSN settings need to be changed. I just don’t know how to do that on my old hosting site.

  The DNS will need to be changed through Enom. If you are unable to find a way to make this change through your account there, we have a sample email you can send them instead:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#2-ask-your-domain-provider-to-update-your-dns-settings

  Enom? I haven’t heard of that before. As far as I know, Wealthy Affiliate is my host for the site. Could they use Enom as a third party? I will try to log into Enom.

  It looks like Enom are the registrar for your domain provider. If you contact Wealthy Affiliate directly, they should be able to help you update the DNS on their end.

  I am trying to transfer registrar from Gandi.net to wordpress and this is the message I got:

  You have decided to leave Gandi, so you must “push” your domain on the ID (TAG) of your new registrar… any idea on what this may be?
