Transferring Domain from GoDaddy to WordPress

    Hello WordPress, I don’t know who to ask since I think my case isn’t listed in the usual places.

    I’m from the Philippines and I own a domain name that ends with .ph

    I currently intend to transfer it here to wordpress but don’t know how. I want to make sure that if people use the link itself, it won’t change to the wordpress link on their URL bar. (I intend to purchase a yearly Business account from WordPress but I won’t be doing this until I can ensure that my domain name is transferred safely).

    While we do not accept transfers for .ph domains, you’ll be able to map it to your site and, with that, hide the free WordPress.com address.

    You’ll be able to map the domain for free once you’ve purchased the plan. Here’s some more information about it:
