Transferring Domain from Google Domains

    If I have a domain through Google Domains and would like to transfer it to WordPress, will my domain remain under my control for 2 years as supposed to one? Does the renewal for the domain through WordPress give us an extra year of ownership or no?

    Hi there,

    You can transfer your domain to us by first purchasing any of the plans you see here, they all include a free domain transfer if you already own a domain with another company: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    When you add your plan, you will be able to transfer free of charge, and one year of additional registration will be added.
