transferring domain from squarespace

  I have cancelled my domain at squarespace after nightmares of trying to connect it. But, before I purchase premium service here, I just want to know that I can use the ‘transfer key’ from squarespace to use the domain here, and where do I do that?

  Hi, there.

  WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain name transfers. The only way to use a domain that has been purchased elsewhere is through domain mapping.

  If you’ve already cancelled the domain name at the other provider, it may be difficult to get it back, though it’s possible that Squarespace has some sort of grace period.

  Another option would be to start fresh with another domain name here.
