Transferring domain from Vistaprint
-
I’ve been told to Vistaprint that in order to transfer my domain to a wordpress site, I just forward the authorisation code to WordPress and they can do everything from there. Is this correct? And if so, who do I send the code to?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com does not accept incoming domain transfers. You can, however, map an existing domain, that you purchased elsewhere.
In order to remove the .wordpress.com URL and replace that with a domain URL you have to purchase an upgrade. See https://wordpress.com/pricing/
See: Map an existing domain (one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a domain that you registered and purchased elsewhere. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL to the original content.
Note that each upgrade bundle applies to a single blog only and is for a single year only when it is due to be renewed.
We all pay in full for every upgrade at the time of purchase. Make sure you read the comparison very closely do you know exactly what the restrictions and limitations on WordPress.COM blogging are: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

Hi there,
The information @timethief provided is correct.
At this stage we are still not able to accept incoming domains, so the only way to use that domain with a WordPress.com site is via the domain mapping upgrade which I see you’ve already added to your site.
