Transferring Domain from WordPress, options unavailable

  I want to transfer my registration of the domain “adamhutz.com” from wordpress to hostgator. I go to store/domain management and I only see the options “email” and “edit DNS.” The option “transfer domain” just does not appear. I can’t even update nameservers. I am logged into the account that paid for the domain name, I’ve renewed the URL so that it’s active, and I’ve had the site substantially longer than 60 days. I’ve done a lot of exploring of other threads and am surprised I cannot find a solution to this problem.

  Your domain adamhutz.com was not registered through WordPress.com, so you will not have those options here. According to a WHOIS search (http://who.is/whois/adamhutz.com), your domain was registered via launchpad.com, so you will need to log in there to manage your domain.
