Transferring domain hosting

  hi there,

  I cant seem to find a contact AT ALL for wordpress and it is really stressing me out. I’m trying to transfer my domain hosting to a different hosting company as I am fed up with wordpress. but it is not allowing me to do so, I first disabled my private registration through domain proxy and now when i look at my upgrades on the wordpress dashboard, it still says that i need to cancel it, when i proceed to click on that, i get the message ” Your domain info is not protected by the Private Whois upgrade. Please return to My Upgrades” ?? should i just get rid of the account? but i dont want to re-purchase the domain that i already have? help!
  i dont know if that made any sense to anyone.

  I’m trying. but i have been stuffed around for awhile now from 3 different companies associated with wordpress regarding this issue. its wearing thin.

  This is a peer support forum. Here we Volunteers answer the questions that we can answer and tag threads for Staff when we cannot assist.   I know it is, and i appreciate that. however, just putting it out there, it is ridiculous for a company such as wordpress to not have a functioning email. my grief is not with the volunteers of this peer support system but with wordpress customer service. i hope that is clear. thank you.

  I have canceled private registration on your domain, and you can now transfer it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/
