Transferring Domain: I have the authorization code but WordPress still shows locked

    Hello!
    I want to transfer my domain to WordPress from GoDaddy. I unlocked my domain from GoDaddy yesterday and I have an authorization code, however WordPress says my domain is still locked and won’t allow me to enter my authorization code. How do I enter the auth code so I can complete the transfer?

    What is the domain you’re trying to transfer?

    To determine whether or not a domain is unlocked for transfer we check the public Whois database, and it’s not possible to start a domain transfer until that shows your domain as unlocked.

    It can sometimes take several hours after unlocking a domain at a domain provider before the public Whois updates to reflect the new status.
