Transferring domain name

Hello,
I have searched online and the forums and cannot find a solution anywhere.
I am currently trying to be transferred a domain from someone who is not using it anymore. She had made me an admin and selected to transfer the domain to me. She received a code but then the support website does not tell where to enter this code in or what to do next. I have been trying to follow the instructions here but they are ambiguous and don’t tell me what to do next. – https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/
I am able to enter her website and it says that the domain is disabled for transfer. When I click on ‘trasnfer to another registrar’ it shows a screen asking if I want to resend the code.
Please help, this is extremely confusing.

The main issue is that my name does not show up on the dropdown menu when I click on ‘Transfer to another user’, even though she has made me an administrator.
Please help. I have searched here, google, youtube, I cant find any information

what is the difference between Transfer to a registrar and Transfer to a user.
What is the definition of a registrar in this case?
