transferring domain name
-
I bought my domain name a long time ago and it was with GoDaddy. I have transferred it to Site Ground which is hosting my new website I am building as well as the one we are building in my WordPress class. Anyway I would like my website that I am building and almost ready to launch to be called SusanBradfordPaintings.com. You have it now as SusanBradfordPaintingcom.wordpress.com.

Hi there!
You can either connect the domain to your site or transfer the domain to WordPress.com completely. Either option requires that you upgrade to one of the WordPress.com paid plans.
I would recommend the WordPress.com Personal Plan which costs $4 per month, Please note that all plans are billed annually ar biannually.
To learn more about the various WordPress.com plans, visit:

I hope this helps,
Cheers :)

Hi there, just to clarify, your WP site on SiteGround is completely independent and separate from your existing WPcom website.
It’s possible that you’ve connected your Siteground WP site to your WPcom account via the Jetpack plugin, but they are still separate websites.
I also see that staff answered your previous question at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/my-wordpress-site-susanbradfordpaintings/#post-3468380
Please follow up there if you have further questions so we can keep all support on this topic in one place. Thanks.
