transferring domain name between blogs

I registered a domain name a week ago through WordPress, as greetingsfromnature.net. I linked it to my current blog, memoryandyou.wordpress.com. Now I want to create another blog, and use greetingsfromnature.net for it, not for memoryandyou. I can’t see how to do this, as when I started to create the new blog and entered greetingsfromnature, it told me it is already taken. I’ve gone into memoryand you and into the Help screen, but I can’t see how to unlink it from the new domain name so I can transfer the new domain name across. Help please!

Further to the above; I have created a blog, greetingsfromnature.net, which is currently my primary blog; my older blog, memoryandyou.wordpress.com, is the secondary one. It was a mistake on my part to link the two. I want two separate blogs. Please tell me how I can retain both sites, independent of each other. I would send you a screen shot but this page won’t allow me to.

You can transfer your upgrades between your sites through your dashboard at Store > My Upgrades. Under the domain upgrade that you want to move, select “Transfer to another site.”
