Transferring domain name from Blogger to WordPress

    I own another blog on Blogger and through Google’s dashboard, bought a domain (that they set up automatically with GoDaddy) name for that blog. I would now like to use that domain name for my WordPress blog instead and have no idea how to take care of the domain mapping etc. Can someone please help? I’ve read the guide on WordPress and changing the name servers confuses me. Because even if I manually change the name servers to WordPress, will it affect my Google-based DNS Manager? Please help!
