Transferring domain registration

Hello, I have tried to transfer my wordpress-hosted domain to a new domain registration provider and hosting provider, but sometimes the URL still redirects to the WordPress servers. Could you please help me with this?

When changes like that are made, it can take several hours (up to 72) for the update the spread around the internet. If you’re still seeing the issue, please post your domain name and one of us can take a look. -
Hi, thanks for the reply. It has been a few weeks since the domain transfer to the new hosting provider, but the wp-admin URL still redirects to the wordpress.com servers instead of my new hosting provider servers. The URL I’m trying to go to is http://www.healthtipstricks.com/wp-admin, but it redirects to http://healthtipstricks.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fhealthtipstricks.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 and tries to log me in to the old dashboard.

The domain information is still listing WordPress.com as the host and registrar (they use Wild West Domains): https://who.is/whois/healthtipstricks.com
To have healthtipstricks.com work with your new hosting provider, the name servers need to be updated. Here’s the guide for that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

Thanks Micawbr. I had done all of those steps which is why I’m confused about the redirect still taking place. The nameservers were changed long ago. I have tried getting through to anyone in WP support but with no luck. I will keep trying. Thanks again for your help!
