Transferring domain to fatcow, EPP never received

  I am trying to transfer my domain from wordpress to fatcow. The domain, sarahfrierson.com, is no longer showing up on My Domains in wordpress. It is showing up on fatcow but I never received an EPP. I have the correct email on file because I receive all other emails from wordpress. I don’t know if I actually transferred the domain or if I changed the nameserver instead.

  It looks like you actually set the nameservers for the domain instead of transferring it. Can you try following the steps here to transfer your domain?

  I cannot because my domain is no longer showing in WordPress’ My Domains tab. Fatcow said my domain is actually registered with Wild West Domains. Is this a subsidiary of WordPress that my domain may have been registered through because I have never heard of it and have no login there?

  Wild West Domains is a registrar that we use for domains registered with WordPress.com. Can you check your Domains page here?

  The domain is still showing up there on my side under your account.

  Thank you. I did find it but now I have requested a transfer code three times in the past 3-4 hours and have not received any emails (spam folder included). I changed the nameservers back to wordpress to insure I get the e-mail so I guess I just need to wait.

  It looks like several different factors are at play. Did you recently change the email address on your account? If so, you’ll need to confirm the new email with ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) before you can request a transfer code. You should have received an email from ICANN at the new address. Did you receive that email?

  After confirming, you’ll need to do the following:

  1. Set the nameservers back to WordPress.com (they’re currently set back to Fatcow)

  2. Request the transfer code
