Transferring domain to WordPress

  Have a page with another provider, and am considering switching it over to WordPress. Want to confirm that the transfer will work and any associated costs beyond what i’ve seen here so far. Also curious if there is a list of restrictions as far as file size limits, etc. as my old provider had many that were not conducive to business. Is there a way of contacting customer support by email?

  Hi there,

  To clarify, you are trying to migrate your site, so it is an exact duplicate of what you have (theme, plugins, design, content) on your current host?

  Or do you plan to use the opportunity to make a fresh start here, and then switch your domain (from the old site to the new one) instead?

  What is the URL of the site so we can take a closer look? Is it already on WordPress or a different platform instead? Thanks for the additional info!

  My site, such as it is – is –

  HOME

  Desire to start from scratch and build an entire new page on wordpress, and hopefully use the same domain name. The company I used is quite Mickey Mouse, and has zero customer support anymore.
