transferring domain to wordpress

  Hello! I used Siteground and wordpress.org through them to purchase and attempt to create my blog/website/podcasts. WP has been less than friendly to figure out so I was thinking of transferring my domain to WP.com and building through here instead of going through Siteground. Does WP.com offer site analytics and such or not? Also, since I’ve already started a site via WP.org, will that pose a problem?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Yes, WP.com has its own site analytics; you may also use Google Analytics on WP.com

  2.) “Also, since I’ve already started a site via WP.org, will that pose a problem?”
  Typically, no. You can migrate the posts, pages, and images. You can also use Jetpack on WP.com

  However, if you do need other Plug-ins, WP.com doesn’t support them unless you’re on the Business plan.
