Transferring domain – what happens to emails?

I am about to transfer a domain name that we own that is hosted on moonfruit.com and am looking for some advice – what happens to the email addresses that we own on this domain, does this come across with the transfer? That is, are we able to continue to email in the same way? Sorry – I am completely new to this, obviously!

First of all, to use your custom domain name, you require to have any of the paid plans.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/Unfortunately, WordPress.com doesn’t offer email hosting itself, but it supports many third-party tools. After migrating your domain, you can create your custom email using Zoho, G-Suite, and other such tools.
