  transferring existing domain name to wordpress.com

  I.o.w. I do not just want to link my site to my.wordpress.com site
  No, I want scholiumconsulting.wordpress.com (existing site) to read myexistingsite.com (also an already existing site, but with an other hosting company –
  changing hosting company thus…

  WordPress.com does not currently accept incoming domain transfers. If you already have a domain and you want to use it with your WordPress.com site, follow the instructions for mapping an existing domain to your WordPress.com blog.   Suggestion: It will be nice if WP at some point can deliver such service.
