transferring existing posts to a new account

  I would like to set up a new wordpress account. What is the best way to transfer my existing posts to the new wordpress account?

  You set the new user as administrator of the blog and delete the old user from the users list of the blog.

  I wanted to add on to the existing post and ask: what happens if you create a new user name and you cannot add it?

  To add a new author you have to invite him/her under “Users” > “Invites” and check the option “Add user to my blog as a contributor” or
  under “Users” > “Authors & Users” in “Add User from Community”.
  If neither option works then contact support with detailed information.
