Transferring expired domain content to a new wordpress site

  Hi WordPress!
  My old domain (holyghostshift.com) expired today and I’ve been wanting a new domain (djholyghost.com). I just purchased the new domain (djholyghost.com) through you, but now realize that all of my old content, followers, and connections are on the old site (holyghostshift.com).

  Is there an economic way to shift (no pun intend) information about?

  I’d love to have the NEW domain name (djholyghost.com) and keep all of the old content and connections from my last wordpress site.

  Can you please help me?

  Hi there!
  Can I please just revert everything back to my newly upgraded holyghostshift.com?

  I don’t want to have the domain djholyghost.com and just want to keep holyghostshift.com

  Basically, since its 48 hours since the domain purchase, can I scratch the additional $99 charge and instead just spend $9 to renew and get everything back through holyghostshift? If there are additional costs for maintaining the premium standard of holyghostshift.com I will pay those, too.

  Hi Michael,

  I understand you would like to cancel your custom domain: djholyghost.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.

  Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Also, please note that holyghostshift.com is expired. After two weeks there will be an $80 late fee attached to the renewal of the domain ($18), so please go to Store > My Upgrades and renew this as soon as possible. The fee is put on us by our registrar so there is no way to waive it.

  Please respond if you want to completely cancel: djholyghost.com.

  Sounds great! After looking into your account, I found that you already canceled and refunded the domain: djholyghost.com! Please note that it may take up to a week for the refund to show up in your bank account.
