Transferring followers from .com to .org

  Hi, I have just transferred my wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org blog. I have some followers and likes on the .com blog and I would like to transfer them over. Can you please help?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

  I’m happy to transfer the users who have subscribed to your blog either by email or via the WordPress.com Reader.

  Please let me know which WordPress.com blog and the URL of your new WordPress.org blog that you’d like the subscribers transferred to.

  Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site. You might want to post a notice on your old site about your upcoming move to keep your readers informed.

  Can you please reply back if you have any questions or let me know you would like to go ahead and move your subscribers?

  Sure thing.

  In your new site, click on the Jetpack navigation menu on the left-side of your site’s Dashboard, then click Site Stats.

  At the bottom-left of that page, you’ll see a Subscriptions box (that looks like this: https://cloudup.com/crDwBNqiwHp ). Click on “Blog”. That page will show you both your WP.com subscribers and your e-mail-only subscribers.

  As part of our user privacy, we don’t reveal the e-mail addresses of WordPress.com users that have subscribed to your site while logged in. If the follower entered their e-mail address while logged out (or if they don’t have a WP.com account), those would be available to you.
