transferring followers to new blog

  how do i get my current followers from my previous blog to transfer over to my new blog? Thanks

  Just one other thing, is it also possible to have all likes and comments moved over to the new site aswell? They are the only things not showing up?

  Did you fully export the content from thefarmerfoundawife.wordpress.com to tolivelaughlove.wordpress.com? It should contain your comments but not your likes, unfortunately.

  yes I did export everything and it does have my comments, not the likes..which is a shame cause I’d rather it the other way around.

  Will this work with a regular website? I have a company website and I am testing this (doing it myself) so I started a free one to test the new format… I was wondering if the export will work with any established website. One of our sites is not mobile friendly.

  We have Word Press, our 3rd party and a separate store front. The section we want to move is a non mobile friendly site, (wordpress) to a wordpress friendly site.

  Okay, perfect.

  In order to move your self-hosted WordPress.org site over to WordPress.com, all you’ll need to do is follow the instructions on our support page:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  Be sure to go to Tools → Export and download the XML (WXR) file to your computer. If you need help importing that file, you can e-mail us and we can try on our end. but follow the instructions on the support page, and that should get you through it.
