transferring from a .org to a .com for wordpress

  Hi there!
  The studio that I work at is currently a wordpress.org site and we would like to switch over to a wordpress.com site is there a way to do that without completely deleting the site.

  Hi there,

  We have a guide on how to move over to WordPress.com here:

  Moving from a Self-Hosted WordPress to WordPress.com

  You’ll need to create a free site here and import your content. Your template on the self-hosted site can’t be imported here, so you’ll need to pick one of our themes instead.

  Your domain also can’t be transferred, but you can connect it here using the domain mapping upgrade included in all our plans.
