transferring from .com to .org
-
I have a hosting company that uses WordPress and I have purchased a domain name for my wordpress blog, 3somes.info. Also I have also purchased from WordPress an upgrade to have my wordpress.com site map to 3somes.info,
When I set-up 3somes.info I had the server pointing to my wordpress blog, as described on WordPress site.
At the time of setting up the domain name on my hosting site, I was not sure if I wanted to move to .org or provide a simpler web address. After thinking about it, I have decided I want to move to .org
When I have installed WordPress the admin is pointing to my current wordpress site
This is preventing me from customizing it and installing plugins.

I have removed the DNS settings for wordpress on 3somes.info and it does not appear to have corrected the issue. However, I understand it can take up to 2 hours for the changes to migrate.
I will try again and any suggestions will help.

I am seeing http://3somes.info/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.
It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency.
Also, do let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
