Transferring from .com to .org with HostGator as host

  Hello!

  I am looking to do the following with my blog:

  1.) Transfer from wordpress.com to wordpress.org;
  2.) Host my site on HostGator.
  3.) If the above does not include domain mapping to my HostGator site, how do I go about addressing it?

  At this time I still receive the expired domain page when going to my site. Please advise.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You need to log into your domain registrar and set your domain’s nameservers to point to HostGator. They are currently pointing to WordPress.com, which is why you are seeing that expiration notice.
