transferring from godaddy to word press

  Hi! If I connect my page from godaddy to wordpress will I lose the current content on the website I have now (hosted by godaddy) and have to start the website building again?

  Content on Godaddy servers doesn’t move itself. You need to move it either with exporting/importing an xml file or with a whole site transfer plugin with a WordPress.com Business plan.
