Transferring from .org to .com

  I am having trouble with getting WordPress.com to be my hosting website instead of SiteGround. Help please!

  Hi there,

  What is the URL of your Siteground site, and what is the URL of the WordPress.com site you’re moving it to?

  We have two migration options on WordPress.com:

  1) You can migrate your entire site, plugins and all. This will require that you upgrade the WordPress.com site to our Business Plan, as that’s a requirement for using plugins on WordPress.com.

  2) You can migrate your content only. To do this, go to Tools ->Export in your SiteGround site’s dashboard to generate an export file. You can then import that file at My Site ->Tools ->Import here on WordPress.com.

  Once you’ve moved your content to us, you can also move your domain to us using any of our paid plans:
