Transferring from wordpress.com to wordpress.org Urgent Help!

  Hi there!
  I need some urgent help please!

  I originally had a wordpress.com and two days ago I purchased a Guided Transfer from WordPress to switch my .com to .org.
  I have got a host (BlueHost) and they called me and said everything is good on there end.
  Yet, whenever I go to switch the Domain Name I get the following message:

  “You must verify your email address through the ICANN verification email before you can transfer this domain.

  Resend ICANN Verification Email”
  I have pressed the “Resend ICANN Verification Email” I have checked my email, the junk folder and have spoken endlessly to the Happiness Engineer yet I have no email?
  I am at a loss at what to do, I PAID hundreds of dollars for both the transfer and the Hosting service and there is no instant help that I can get?
  Someone please help?

  Hi @jakerobertknight, if you’ve bought a Guided Transfer they’ll help you through with pointing the domain to Bluehost — and while that help may not be instant at all hours, it’s very near that. It looks like you’re already set there.

  They’ll be able to help you with the verification email issue too if you’ll ask.
