Transferring from wordpress.com to WordPress.org. Why is My blog not live?

  I just submitted a ticket, but gave the wrong email address.

  My question (once again) goes something like this. How do i get my blog to go live on wordpress.org after I transfer from wordpress.com?

  Here are the details:

  My domain name (reachthefuture.org) was purchased through GoDaddy. It was pointing to wordpress.com to my blog reachingthefuture.wordpress.com and I was paying for the service so my blog would render the name reachthefuture.org.

  I recently went to switch to wordpress.org and am self hosting on HostGator. I exported the files from WP.com, imported them into WP.org and everything went well. I then changed my nameservers at Godaddy to point at HostGator. However my blog is still not live after 72 hrs. Do i need to change something in WP.com? Did I forget a step?

  Since your site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com, and your domain isn’t registered here, you’d need to contact HostGator’s support team for help with this issue.
