Transferring header from retired Regulus theme

Went back to my old blog that had a little bit of a custom header but I now see that the Regulus theme has been retired. Is there a theme that works with my old header or will I lose what I have? Need to start over? Thank you

WordPressdotcom doesn’t delete sites, so you can continue to use that site and the Regulus theme on that site as long as you wish. Just know that if you decide to “test” other themes by switching themes, you may not be able to switch back to Regulus.

Keep in mind that being a retired theme, Regulus won’t be updated with WordPressdotcom’s latest bells and whistles. More importantly, it isn’t a responsive width theme and anyone visiting your site on a mobile device/tablet will have issues. You can see this yourself if you resize your browser screen to simulate a phone or tablet.

If you do decide to switch themes, probably the simplest solution is to create a new header for whatever theme you are wishing to use.

Let us know if you have any more questions on that.
