transferring images to self hosted website

  Hi there,

  How can I transfer all the images from a wordpress.com business account to wordpress.org self hosted site?

  I’m planning to delete the wordpress.com blog. It’s for my client.

  Hi there. If you transfer your content via an XML export file, it should automatically transfer the images when you import the file to the self-hosted site. Just make sure you don’t delete anything form your WordPress.com site until you’re certain all the files and content have made it across.   Also be aware that sometimes this doesn’t work. In that case you’ll need to manually re-upload the images to the self-hosted site. There might also be a plugin to help with that, but you’ll need to post in the WordPress.org forum if you need more help in that regard. http://wordpress.org/support/
