    Hi, my community council currently have a domain name that is with Fasthosts. They host the community website. We get email for the site through this. I am building a new website for the community and will be using you to host it – probably on the personal plan. I need to transfer the domain name to you and set things up so that we still get email. I really don’t know how to do this.

    If you are looking to transfer a domain hosted with Fasthosts over to your WordPress.com account, you can follow these instructions on our support page:

    You can indeed purchase the Personal Plan and set the domain as the primary address for the site.

    In order for your current email to continue functioning after moving the domain over to WordPress.com, you will need to obtain the custom DNS records from your email provider and add them to your WordPress settings:
