Transferring my annacrew.com (wordpress) domain from Wildwest to Bluehost

  To whom it may concern,

  I want to change my domain from wordpress.com to blue host.com but the DNS Manager on my domain manager tells me the Domain is not active (an therefore I cannot change the registrar).

  Bluehost (my new hosting website) tells me the domain is not pointing in their direction.

  Please let me know how to transfer this domain. I followed these http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/ instructions, but I get stuck when I have to change the ‘contact’ as the contact feature is blocked on my domain manager.

  Hi Anna!

  I show that your domain annacrew.com doesn’t expire until August 2013, so you shouldn’t have any problems transferring your domain to BlueHost.

  In addition, you shouldn’t need to change your contact information to transfer the domain. Since authorization codes expire, I’ve resent the authorization code to the registered domain contact email address. This is a different email than the email you used on your WordPress.com account.
