Transferring my blog content to my new blog site.

  I’m wanting to change the name of this blog. Can the name be changed and content kept or will I have to create a new one and transfer all my blog posts?

  I think the best path forward is going to depend on what your goals for this project are. Can you share more details about that with us? The best option might be to secure a custom domain to help you build recognition and improve seo, expanding your audience. That can be done on our personal plan.

  You wouldn’t need to worry about changing the name of the site with that option. The domain would take care of that.

  I recently started a podcast on Anchor titled “Labor with the Creator”. My goal is to combine the content from my current blog “John John’s Blog” so that it will be under one umbrella; “Labor with the Creator Podcast” and “Labor with the Creator Blog”

  Thanks for clarifying that! So if you don’t need to keep two separate sites and you don’t plan on using the address showupandblogtoday.wordpress.com in the future, you can simply change the name and site address. You don’t have to create a new blog and transfer all content.

  To change the name, you can click My Site → Settings and change the Site Title.
