Transferring my domain name

  Hi there,
  I have made the transfer across from .com to .org, but my domain name was originally purchased from WordPress. So, I went to the ‘my domains page, and, as I have never accessed this page before now (my blog is perhaps four years old) I noticed an old email address is registered. So, I changed it and my surname as I have married in this time too, to then find my transfer domain option locked.
  I’ve unlocked and and then asked for a transfer code but received nothing. I am now wondering if it is being sent to my original email address, which I haven’t accessed in a while.

  I’m only trying to redirect one WordPress blog to another. Surely there is an easier way?
