Transferring my domain to WordPress

  Hi I’m interested in transferring my website from network solutions to WordPress how do I transfer my domain do I wait for it to expire then re purchase it or does WordPress offer domain transferring service

  Because you already own the domain, you can use the Domain Mapping upgrade to connect your domain with a WordPress.com site: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  However, WordPress.com does not support incoming domain transfers, so you will have to keep the domain registered with your domain registrar.

  Yes – your domain name will need to be registered with someone
