Transferring my own domain to WordPress

  Is my existing blog content automatically preserved? And are my followers automatically transferred to the new domain?

  Hi –

  It sounds like you’re considering a plan upgrade? If so, yes, is the answer.

  The site content, design, everything stays the same as it is on the free version. The only thing that changes is what folks see in their address bar or through search engines – they’ll see your domain instead of the free site address.

  Does that make sense?

  The followers and stats won’t be affected either.
