Transferring my site from Mailchimp to WordPress
-
I have a both a free site with WordPress, https://acronanimous1968.wordpress.com/ and I have a domain currently on Mailchimp, with whom I also manage my email marketing.
I want to move all my stuff from Mailchimp, eventually, right now just my domain to WP, as there I can integrate a blog, and commercial features further on, however I cannot pay for a paid option just now.
Longterm, I don’t want to keep the free site. But I need advice on what to do and how to do it.
What are the possiblities?
Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to help you make a plan to move this transition forward. Have you seen our hosting plans already? The plans, features, and prices are visible on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ These can be paid for by the month or by the year.
Our business plan is going to help you propel this project to the next level, and you’ll be able to continue that Mailchimp integration on that option.
I understand that this might not be a viable option yet. The hosting plans can be paid for on a monthly basis too. The other option is that you can switch your site hosting over to us on the entry level, personal plan. When you upgrade between plans you would only pay the difference, not the entirety of the new plan.
I’m curious to learn more about your time line for making this transition and I can also answer any other questions that you have.
