transferring my site to wordpress

    Hi there, I am considering transferring my wix site to wordpress so that I can host it on highlevel. Can you walk me through what I would need to do, if this will change my website, or if this is even possible?

    Hey there @ellifriesen1999, just to clarify, will you be hosting here with us or using a copy of WordPress? Here’s a short explanation of the differences, and more info here.

    If you’re hosting here, we have an import tool that can help you grab your text and images from the site, and help you get the same page names, etc.

    But the page layout sometimes doesn’t come through very well with that. So depending on how big your site is and how much you’re importing, or if you are going to run your own copy of WordPress, it may make sense to simply start a site here, then copy and paste your text and add your images using our templates and patterns so you get a result you like.
