Transferring name to another user.

Today is my first ay with WordPress. On my list of blogs there is a red warning about transferring my blog title (www.thinkingofthailand.wordpress.com) to another user. I have not requested this. What should I do!!??

Hi there. Are you speaking of the link saying Transfer Blog when you hover your mouse over the blog title on the My Blogs page? That’s not a warning, just a link. Unless you click on it nothing will happen. Also, a blog cannot be transferred unless you click the confirmation link in an email that is sent out when you do a blog transfer. If you haven’t received an email like that at the address connected to your account, then you should be safe.
If you’re speaking of another warning, please provide more details. It would help if you can take a screenshot of it. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard while on the page where you see the warning. Then go to http://snag.gy/ and press Ctrl-V to paste the screenshot. Then copy the URL generated by snag.gy and paste it here so I can see your screenshot.

If you haven’t yet, you might want to work through the “Learn WordPress” support doc (http://learn.wordpress.com/) and the “Video Quick Start” tutorial (http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/). They cover all the basics of WordPress.com and make the learning curve a bit easier.
